Still Centre - Mindfulness-based Approaches to Stress
Using mindfulness, we can learn to observe our
thoughts, and bodily sensations, our fears, and joys, and come to a place of acceptance. A place where
the busy-ness of life still occurs around us, but we are not caught up in it, and where we can learn to be with whatever is
happening, knowing that there is now that quiet spot inside us; our still centre.
We offer an eight week course, based on the one developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the
University of Massachusetts Medical Center, during which you will be invited to take part in various exercises, including
sitting and moving meditations, reflections and a daily journal.
